How Standout Auto Detailing collects, uses and protects the information you give us.

What we collect
When you submit an enquiry we collect the information you provide: your name, mobile number, email address, suburb, vehicle details and any notes you add. If you contact us by phone, email or social media, we keep a record of that correspondence so we can respond and follow up.
Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. Standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, as is normal for any website.
How we use it
- To prepare and send you a quote
- To arrange and confirm your booking
- To contact you about the work on your vehicle
- To keep a service history so we can advise on maintenance and coating inspections
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent, and we do not send follow-up campaigns to people who enquire and decide not to book.
Who we share it with
We only share your details where it is necessary to deliver the service — for example with a coating manufacturer when registering a warranty, or with a payment provider when you pay an invoice. These providers are bound by their own privacy obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and service records for as long as needed to service your vehicle and to meet our legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@standoutautodetailing.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
This policy is provided in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you believe your privacy has been mishandled, contact us first — and if you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
